WHO WE ARE

We are an English speaking church located in Skien, Norway. Skien is in the Grenland district of Telemark, Norway. Whether you are an expat, or you are a native Norwegian who enjoys English, you are invited to come to Grenland International Church.

We meet every Sunday at 11:00 AM. We are located in the center of Skien.

We believe every person is created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), and therefore has incalculable value. We believe that God took on flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14). Jesus lived the perfect life we could not and died in our place for our sin and rose again on the 3rd day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). We believe that we are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). When a person trusts in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins, they are created in Christ Jesus for good works (Ephesians 2:10). The Christian life is meant to be a life of great meaning and purpose. Our desire is to help people walk in all that God has for them (John 10:10).
